History

Pupils will investigate:

• Important episodes in Britain’s past from Roman to modern times
• Modern history, e.g. the First world War, Second World War
• Ancient civilisations, e.g. Egyptians, Romans, Greeks
• A sense of chronology, when certain events took place
• Changes in everyday life over a long period of time, e.g. food and farming
