Welcome to Whitbourne C.E. Primary School

One of the striking features of Whitbourne School is the warm and friendly atmosphere that greets you.  The strength of community and sense of caring emanates from parents, children, staff and governors.  This warmth allows children to feel secure and so enjoy coming to school and learning, which in turn means that children at Whitbourne achieve according to their ability.

We are a Church of England School that is funded through the Local Authority. We recognise our historic foundation and work in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level. We serve our community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practise. We promote Christian values through the experiences we offer to all our pupils.

Our school is situated at the heart of Whitbourne village, which itself is situated on the Hereford / Worcester county border, on the A44 5 miles East of Bromyard, and 12 miles west of Worcester. You can contact us by telephoning 01886 821266 or by e-mailing admin@whitbourne.hereford.sch.uk. Our Headteacher is Mrs. Julia Millwood.

  • What People Think…

“Teaching is good and the school has high expectations of what pupils can achieve. The school is well managed and led. Our children are helped to become mature and responsible. Children like school and they behave well.”

  • What People Think…

“Good care, guidance and support are clearly evident as a central focus for the school which is recognised by both pupils and their parents and carers. ‘Our school is a big happy family’ and ‘it is like a second home’ are just two of the comments made by pupils when asked to describe Whitbourne. Similarly, one parent said ‘it is a kind, caring atmosphere like a family’.”
